Best tasting shiitake ever

Just had the first few come through, quickly cooked in a little butter with some salt and it was amazing. Lets the kids have a taste as they were walking by and they came running back for more.

Yummy mushrooms

Trying to put the block into a plastic container the block broke into several pieces.
We have had a small harvest but probably not the way it should be.

I am sorry to hear that! This type of damage is what we ask to look out for at the top of the instructions page. It sounds like it had a rough journey to you, unfortunately. Please compost it or use it as a top mulch in the garden, worms love it.
